Hi! I'm Kate Crouse, owner and founder of "A Touch of Whimsi". I'm a licensed, insured and certified planner and I love what I do! I love creating, planning, and executing elegant, romantic and stress free weddings. I own the business with my husband Charles, who often accompanies me on weddings, or at times leads weddings with one of our assistants. He brings with him many years in the management field. We serve Knoxville, East Tennessee, GA, NC, SC, FL, AL, etc. We are happy to go wherever your dream location is!
I started planning in 2008, when my daughter Sarah was born. It started with her parties, and I fell in love with the whole process. I had friends and family start asking me to assist with or plan their parties and events, and in that process, "A Touch of Whimsi" was born!

My husband and I planned a small renewal in 2021 with 40 family members and friends. It was a great reminder , that big or small, simple or elegant, it's life's special moments that linger.
We specialize in planning, design, and coordination! What makes me different, is that it's my passion for weddings that drives me, and my attention to detail. Here's the rest of my team, Katherine is my lead coordinator and has been with me for two years. She has over 10 years of customer service and hospitality experience. She often works along myself or Charles, or is running weddings on her own. Margaret is my silk designer and she also assists me quite often at weddings. She has an amazing eye for design and detail. Charity came on beard with me as an assistant a year ago, and offers a great eye for detail and wonderful customer service. Roy has over 10 years in hospitality and customer service and has been with me for over a year. All of my team members are personally trained by me and I am so happy to have them on board!
